Established in 1994, Linwood is a family business based in the South of England.
In creating both classic and contemporary design, Linwood’s aim is to combine beauty, quality and practicality to offer fabric and wallpapers that inspire and delight.
Drawing their inspiration from textile archives, museums and the natural world, their creative team design beautiful, thoughtful and carefully crafted collections of prints, weaves and wallpapers.
Linwood like working with people they know; many of their fabrics and wallpapers are made entirely in Britain. The rest are made in Europe (Italy, Belgium and Spain mostly) by family-run mills with whom they have longstanding relationships.
Frequent dropped calls in both the office and warehouse was leading to a dip in sales. This was due to poor reliability and speed problems with their broadband. The existing phone system using SIP trunks was not fit for purpose and needed to be updated.
To ensure a reliable and fast internet connection was delivered, FCC provided a dedicated leased line with a failover broadband service for disaster recovery purposes. We moved away from an on-premise phone system and replaced it with a fully Hosted Telephony system which integrates with Dynamics Nav. All warehouse operatives use a smartphone as their new user extension with the hosted phone system client app. Poor signal areas in the warehouse are now a thing of the past since phone users use the existing WiFi coverage to make and receive their calls.
