South west business telecoms experts, First Class Comms (FCC), have become the foundation’s first new partner in a multi-year deal that sees them become the women and girls performance partner.

FCC line upBased in Weston-super-Mare, FCC is a business telecoms provider collaborating with companies to design, manage and support their phone VoIP systems, business mobiles, broadband and data connections. Customers who choose to partner with FCC range from owner-managed and family run companies to regional charities and large enterprises.

FCC currently manage the Foundation’s business mobiles, broadband and data connections and have been supporting the organisation since 2018. Mark Burland, Director of FCC, said:

“On behalf of FCC and the team we are delighted to be supporting Gloucestershire Women and Girls as their performance partner. This is a big step for FCC but we are really excited to show our support and to help and aid the Foundation with the great work that they do. We know how important the Women and Girls game is to the Foundation and therefore to help and support in this way means a lot to us”

This is a wonderful injection of support prior to the 2022 season and will see the Girl’s Sri Lanka touring party dressed to impress with the new range of clothing, containing the branding of FCC.

Steve Silk, Foundation CEO, is hugely thankful for the partnership:

“Mark and his team have provided wonderful business support to us for serval years and to now extend our relationship and build a partnership around an area of the game that means a lot to them, is terrific. This partnership will ensure that our touring team and our U18’s will look the part both on and off the field, something that they richly deserve for all of their hard work and the dedication they put in to representing Gloucestershire.”

Laura Charles-Price, Women and Girl’s Development Officer said:

“Having a women and girls partner support the work we are doing is amazing and it will provide our girls with a boost and make them feel one step closer to the professional game. They deserve this support and all our girls thank FCC for their help”

FCC teamFirst Class Comms (FCC) offer an extensive range of hosted telephony, connectivity, and mobile services to businesses across the region and as a consequence of this partnership are already talking to the wider family of Gloucestershire recreational cricket, providing help and support. FCC’s expertise is to help businesses and charities on their telecoms journey by advising on the best available technology, working within budgets and where possible future proofing the services they provide.

The Foundation has several partners that support its work but with the charities ambition of putting more bats and balls in to more people’s hands, new partnerships are always welcome.
